  Introduction
  
  The present research is devoted to the examination of the transfer of denotative function of the language in the process of translation. This problem shows today high importance in different fields of knowledge.
  First of all, this problem is actively researched in the sphere of linguistic science. The interest towards this problem is stipulated by the fact that denotative function is one of the main functions of language, because it is linked with one of the main functions of communication, i.e. knowledge transfer and release of information. Language as a means of communication is seen today as a complex of language units and the rules of their usage, and speech is understood as the use of language units with the aim of communication. All language units used in the process of speech are closely connected not to the notions but to the concrete objects and phenomena. Consequently, the whole phrase transfers the denotation function of a text.
