  Introduction.In rhetoric, rhetorical statements refer to rhetorical questions and are defined as a figure of speech that expresses "the language of passion, strong and striking, characteristic of the speaker in the heat of feelings, in the desire of soul, in the ardent movement of the heart." Rhetorical statements used in various genres of artistic and poetic discourse are distinguished by solemnity, elevation, conciseness, and have a high emotional and expressive level. Their interrogative-rhetorical form contributes to the response, the response of the addressee, although non-verbal, delayed: "the most attached to the addressee imperatives and questions. < ... > The loss of a particular addressee alters the communicative status of speech, turning a question into a rhetorical splash, exclamation, or problem."
  Recently the attention of researchers is focused on the study of metaphoric and stylistic values of zoonyms in rhetorical statements considering researching specific world views, philosophical and linguistic meaning of zoonomination, primeramente cultural role of zoonomination in the verbal formulas of wishes. ................
