  Is it easier to share news today than it was in the past?
  In order to answer the question about news sharing now and in the past it is necessary to analyze the facts. Before studying those connected with the news it is worth saying about the need of the person in communication. This need is basic for people due to their involvement into the society. Probably, it was one of the factors which influenced technical progress. This statement can be confirmed by the following facts.
  In ancient times primitive sources of information were used to transfer news related to the security or gathering people for the events. The question of security was connected with the defence from enemies or wild animals. The events were mostly hunting or religious rites. People were informed with the help of different sounds (screams at short distances, drums, whistles, gongs, etc.) or light (fires, torches, burning spears, arrows). In the times of ancient Greece the sounds and light were used as codes. They were used mainly in sailing and became the prototype of the telegraph. Also one of the popular ways to sharing news in different centuries was usage of messengers.
  Along with such methods of data storage as rock carvings and hieroglyphs, writing became the source of information for news sharing. One of the most popular ways of news transfer was the post. Written messages were transferred both by messengers and doves.
  Acceleration of news transmission is connected with the appearance of newspaper in VII century, the invention of the telegraph in the VIII century, telephone and radio in the XIX century, television and satellite communications in the XX century.
