  Introduction
  
  This topic is interesting to me, because the international strategies of the largest corporations in the world are subject to constant changes, which are constantly correlated with economic and financial instruments. Studying the experience of two software companies will help me understand which financial instruments are the most effective in the field of financial planning and budgeting.
  Timeliness and significance of the topic. In a commercial organization, control and analytical work should be of great importance, since its effectiveness largely determines the result of economic planning (Harlaar et al 2020: 67). Planning and economic services constantly monitor the implementation of indicators of financial, cash and credit plans, plans for profit and profitability, monitor the use of their own and borrowed working capital for their intended purpose, and the targeted use of bank loans.
  This task can be successfully solved only within the framework of financial management, which is aimed at optimizing the company"s financial resources to achieve maximum income (Singh, Tejinder 2020: 134).
  A research gap. Today there is no methodological apparatus associated with financial planning and budgeting in software companies. That is why assessing the effectiveness of the tools used will help to better understand this process.
