  A logistics system is an economic system with high adaptive properties in the process of performing a complex of logistics functions and operations. It is formed from several subsystems (purchases, warehouses, stocks, transport, information, personnel, sales), widely integrated with each other and with the external environment. Its goal is to ensure supplies to a given location in the required quantity and assortment, ready for consumption at a given level of costs
