  The research is devoted to lexicology. As far as we know, vocabulary is a language structure characterized by dynamism in different periods of time. This research shall study the process of borrowing the vocabulary as the way to change and to expand the lexicon of English and Spanish languages.
  For different languages, different role of borrowings is typical, the role of borrowings in the language depends on historical conditions in which the language has been forming. For example, English language is characterized by a bigger percent of borrowed words, in comparison with other European languages, because the English language is characterized by a big degree of penetrability.

  Borrowing is the process that is used to increase lexicon of the language. Due to the borrowing, new roots and stems appear in the language, new elements of world-building and new precise terms arise, and this process is a predictable result of people’s social, economic and political activity. The language activity is based on the process of borrowing. Sound and formal unity in frameworks in a language or its dialect variant can be interpreted only via the procedure of continuous borrowing, when two nations borrow lexical units from each other. Further, it is possible to study the borrowing between different languages that are related or not related with each other. .....................................................................
