  Last decades has considerably increased the interest to study of euphemism for the purpose of an establishment both laws of functioning euphemistic names, and description of their ethno- and sociocultural features.
  Many linguists underline a role of a principle of politeness as one of the main principles underlying creation of modern euphemisms. Among them such reseachers as A.M. Katz, L.P. Krysin, V.I. Zabotkina, J. Neaman, C. Silver and others. Besides it, euphemism is investigated in functional-pragmatical, semantic, sociocultural aspects. Man describe its basic means, study euphemisms of fiction, etc. It is known that now the gender parametre is one of the most important factors in a life of English-speaking society, especially American in which feminist movement stimulated development of movement of political correctness.
  All these testify to the actuality of the problem analyzed. It is caused on the one hand by an insufficient readiness of a problem of euphemism in gender aspect, on another, increase of a role of politeness in the course of communications in the light of political correctness and propagandized tolerance.
  Object of research is euphemism of modern English language. The subject of research are euphemistic units marked on gender parametre and created taking into account a pragmatical principle of politeness in modern English language.
  As a material for research have served euphemistic units received from various lexicographic sources (modern English sensible, special dictionaries), and also authentic texts (art prose, newspaper and journal publications, advertisements).
