  Introduction
  Tourism is one of those types of human activity that most fully corresponds to one of the main principles of the process of globalization. It is free movement of large masses of people. In Russia, tourism is a developing branch of the economy, which is regulated by the relevant law [1].
  Tourism is represented by three categories of products [2]. They are: a) products manufactured consumed within the industry (services, related products, souvenirs, etc.); b) tourist products that are not products of human labor (mountains, ponds, air, etc.); c) cultural and historical heritage that does not have a commodity form (museums and reserve museums, artificial landscapes, architectural and engineering structures, etc.).

  Preconditions for the development of tourism in Russia
  The emergence of tourism in Russia to a certain degree can be related to commercial travels connected with large trade routes running through the country. After Christianization of Russia, travels became not only commercial, but also religious and cultural. There were travelers to holy places, as well as foreign specialists in the field of education, construction, etc. on the territory of the country. [3]
  Nevertheless, all these facts can not be related to tourism itself. It is explained by limitations in movement. All the representatives of upper class served the sovereign and could not travel without the permission and control of the supreme power. Nobleman simply didn’t have private time.
