  Such statement that nowadays TV is losing in fight against computers, disputable enough and has both arguments “pro” and arguments “contra”. We will try to understand which arguments are more convincing.
  At the beginning let’s examine some facts confirming that TV does not lose its position.
  1. First, for today TVs take a strong place in each house, in each family. Moreover, a lot of telescreens now are installed in some kinds of public transport, on open surfaces and use for translation of television channels (usually musical) or in the advertising purposes.
  2. Secondly, many sport cafes and other similar public places attract different sport fans to visit their translations of sports matches or other actions.
  3. Thirdly, cinemas still remain one of the most expensive kinds of entertainment and leisure activities; therefore a lot of people are viewing the most part of different films on TV (including viewing with use of video and DVD technologies).
  4. Fourthly, there are many countries, cities and various settlements which hardly heard about contemporary computer technologies. It goes without saying that in such places TV is the most popular entertainment and may be something like as Russians called “connection to the world”.
  Now we will examine some facts confirming, that computers win in fight against TVs.
