  The concept of corporate citizenship as an organizational phenomenon
  Corporate citizenship has been one of the key themes in the discussion of sustainable development mechanisms. There is the economic evaluation of socially responsible business in its center. The growing dissatisfaction with the effects of globalization and the role of large multinational companies makes corporate community care about maintaining a positive image. Redistribution of responsibility for the development of the social environment stimulates an active search for channels and forms of interaction between business, government and social interest groups. Such cooperation is considered today as a key element to increase social processes controllability. Ultimately, it goes about creating mechanisms to minimize and manage the risks of undermining the prospects of sustainable and predictable development.
  There are differences in terminology among different expert groups. Therefore the concept of corporate citizenship is associated with other concepts like corporate social responsibility. The study of these concepts is often conducted in isolation. And it is carried out notwithstanding the fact that corporate social responsibility is the foundation, which develops social partnership, and which is at the same time the basis for the formation of corporate citizenship.
  It should be said that a lot of authors studied corporate citizenship in combination with other concepts. The total capacity of their scientific development provided a high level of theoretical and methodological research trends and specific forms of interaction of government bodies and enterprise structures in different stages of their evolution. It says about the fact that corporate citizenship term couldn’t appear at once. It was gradual logical process.
