  The Cathedral of Vasily the Blessed
  The Cathedral of Vasily the Blessed, generally known as Saint Basil"s Cathedral, is situated in Red Square in Moscow, Russia. A former church, the building is now a museum, officially called the Cathedral of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin on the Moat or Pokrovsky Cathedral. It was being built from 1555 till 1561 on orders from Ivan the Terrible in the honor of the capture of Astrakhan and Kazan. It was the tallest building in the city until 1600 when the Ivan the Great Bell Tower was completed. It has been the hub of the Moscow"s growth since the XIV century.
  Owing to the unique architectural style of its interior and exterior it was declared in 1990 a World Heritage Site by UNESCO (Domingo, 2018).

  CONCLUSION
  St. Basil’s Cathedral, – named a World Heritage Site by the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization, – is the most well-known artistic work of Russian architecture. Also called "The Cathedral of Intercession of the Virgin by the Moat" or "Pokrovsky Cathedral", it is the most recognizable buildings in Moscow.
  St. Basil’s Cathedral means to Russians the same as Notre-Dame de Paris to French people, being a respectable symbol of their present, past and future.
