  2. “A man who is ignorant of foreign languages is ignorant of his own”. Comment on this quotation, expressing your opinion. Come up with your own examples.
  
  As for me, I fully agree with this quotation. Foreign languages are an important matter in contemporary agenda.
  First of all, studying of foreign languages now is simply necessary for every educated, successful modern man. The fact is that in many cases, foreign languages give a person a kind of a start in life, opening a whole new world of possibilities.

  3. Why are so many languages dying? Why should we care about the death of a language?
  
  It is to be regretted that several languages are dying nowadays.
  It is connected with the modern trend of integration, which implies the unity and unification in all directions. Earlier the multi-ethnic was defended, guarded, and welcome. The USSR was a multinational state and proud of it. Even now there are a fair number of representatives of different peoples living in our country. Now in relation to discrimination on ethnic grounds or due to other reasons, the small peoples increasingly wish to disconnect, secede from the states that, undoubtedly, take in danger the preservation of their identity and language. It can’t get away with it! All nations share their fate in our complicated world.

  4. Changes the process of ageing brings about. Are all of them inevitable? Suggest ways of avoiding or disguising them.
  
  The process of ageing does not spare anybody.
  As usual women meet with such difficulties as wrinkles, double chin, loose skin, palecomplexion, coarseskin, etc.
  As for men, they encounter such problems as balding hair, greyinghair, bags under eyes, slow down mentally etc.
